I have just got a genetic tester from the diamond shop but when I try to use it on my hatchlings that have just hatched the option never comes up in the inventory. It allows me to select stable pets but not hatchery ones.
Is there no possible way to test pets while they are hatchlings and if so how?

@Leosnake,
You can test any pet that isn't an Eggling. In order to test a pet, visit their profile page and click the "Genetic Test" button.
