I am nature clicking the eggs/hatchlings but it only gives me scales once in a while,can anyone help me with that? ^.^

If you are not getting any scales, you are incorrectly nurturing the sylestie!
Hatchlings
slow=race
derpy=read
weak=work out
restless=play with it
hungry=feed it
Eggs
warm=cool it
cool=warm it
dull=polish it
restless=turn it

How do i get pet essence i havent found out how yet

You go to trades and where it says 'relics' you click and it is under consumables.

You can get essences in a number of ways.
You can buy them from the diamond shop (in diamonds), or on the trade broker (usually not cheap).
You can also find them by nurturing (very rare), doing missions (very rare), or fighting (very rare).
