There's a couple users I would like to ignore on here in the forums. Considering it's a fairly standard forum function, I'm surprised there isn't one here.

My favorite sort of ignore function is one where their posts are shown as there, but have a "click to view" message on top of them. Flight Rising is different, replacing their post text with "You have ignored this user and cannot see this message." Other places hide the posts entirely.

Considering how it may be necessary to see these people's messages at time in the forums to see answers to questions, I'd really like the "click to view" sort of ignore function. The ignored person would still be able to view your posts and ping you, therefore not knowing they have been ignored.

It would greatly improve my experience on this site and make me less stressed.

Block pings from certain players too, that'd be real nice.

Along with the "click to view" idea - I'd love an option to "click to view" for non-sylestia.com-hosted images (and signatures, if we get them in the future). Don't know how possible that is with this forum! On another forum I'm at I'm able to select it so that images don't show if hosted somewhere besides that site, but I can click the placeholder right in the post (sometimes forums give you the ability to block images but then no way to see them again, which can be difficult to use).

I would like this, also for the zone chat since that is rather hard to avoid when you just don't want to interact with certain people. ^^

I don't have anyone on the site I'd like to ignore yet but if I did, this would be a nice option.

I would love this feature. There's just a few people around here I know I never want to interact with ever.
