Welcome to 31 Days of Halloween!
Arguably my favorite holiday, Halloween is a great night because we get to dress up, scare each other and ourselves, get all sorts of treats, and just generally have fun, but in my opinion, it doesn't last long enough. That's why I made this thread, so we can have Halloween all month long!
I'll be running various games and contests all month that if you win, you can get some awesome Halloween-themed prizes.
At the beginning of each new game or contest, I'll send out a mass ping to anyone who wants to be part of it, so if you'd like to be on that list, just let me know.
The first game or contest will begin on the 1st of October.
Rules:
1. Be polite to each other, if I see any fighting I may have to ban you from the thread.
2. Be polite to me, please and thank you make me a lot more willing to do this kind of thing again.
3. Always ping me when posting in a contest or game, or I will not count your entry.
4. No complaining if you don't get the prize you want.
5. If you feel someone has copied your idea in any of the contests, message me in private and we can work it out.
6. Overall, try to have fun! It's almost Halloween!
Please make sure to check back here periodically, as I may need to change the rules as time goes on.
Game #6: Pumpkin Picking
Alright, this is our last game! 31 Days of Halloween is almost over!
For this game, it's essentially Pick a Door, but with pumpkins. For those of you that are unfamiliar with Pick a Door, they way it works, is I will post four pictures, all with numbers on them, and you make a post saying which number you choose, then, at the end of the round, I will reveal which pumpkins get to move on and pick again, and which stop there and get a prize. Now keep in mind, the further you get in the game, the better the prizes are.
Rules:
1. DO NOT edit your post, once you post your pick, you CAN NOT change it.
2. You may only join the game during "patch 1" after that, only the people who picked during that can move on.
3. There will most likely be multiple rounds, so don't worry.
4. Make sure you read the rules on the first post.
This game will end on 10/31/2014 whenever the last round is finished.
Game #2: Halloween Art Contest
In this game, well, more like contest, but for the sake of continuity, I'm calling it a game~ Anyways! In this game, all you have to do is draw something Halloween related that also has to do with Sylestia. For example, you could draw you and your team trick-or-treating, or perhaps some pumpkin picking, or even monster-ified versions of some of your Sylesties. Anything you can come up with, so long as it includes Halloween and Sylestia.
Rules:
1. You must draw it yourself.
2. It must be a new image, specifically for this contest.
3. It can not be over PG-13, so no nudity (even tasteful), limited violence/gore, and please no curse words.
4. Your art can be digital or traditional, either is fine.
5. Only one entry per person.
6. Make sure to check the rules on the first page.
This game will end at the end of the month 10/30/2014 at about midnight game time.

a faerie lurked with rage in her heart,
looking to scare and tease.
When all of a sudden came the sound of a snap,
though not that of a twig.
And an eerie light filled the darkening night
as a presence not her own was revealed.
"You're what?" asked the wicked faerie Myrid'
of a stranger at midnight's hour.
and the shade replied with a graceful glide,
"Why, I'm the ghost of a Faelora."
"The ghost of a Faelora?" said the faerie, confused;
"That's strange news to me;
I never supposed a Faelora had a ghost,
Though I've seen the shade of a Ny'vene."

Halloween is also my favorite holiday. Always has been. And I, too, was planning on Halloween contests through October. Great minds think alike ^-^;
