I think it would be neat if we could find food when we're exploring to feed our pets instead of just having the option to pay gold to feed them. I think it will add a little to the site.
Also I would like to suggest that the feed pets in all stables option should just include pets from your stables and not your hatchery. I think its misleading, maybe an option to "feed all pets you own" would be better.
Also if you buy a stablehand, does she just work in 1 stable or all of your stables?

If you read the thread on planned developments, http://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=3119, gathering/farming food is planned to be implemented in the future. Just probably not soon, since there's a lot of things the admins want to improve on the site.
I personally feel there is no need to have a "feed all stable but hatchery" button, but maybe changing the current "feed all stables" to "feed all pets" might cause less misunderstanding.
the stablehand feeds all the pets that require feeding, so all the stables.

The reason why feeding all pets currently feeds those in hatchery as well, is because with the coming hatchery update Adolescents will no longer be permitted to stay in the hatchery.
Since things are being updated in stages the 'feed all' was set with this in mind, rather than the admins having to update the stables AGAIN once the hatchery is updated. (Which I'm sure would have a chance to cause bugs and instability with certain functions of the site.)
Once everything is said and done, the 'feed all' will no longer effect the hatchery since hatchlings don't need to eat, and hatchlings will be the only pets in there.
So... technically your suggestion is being fixed, just not in the way you suggested it. :3

Man, I do not like that update. I like to keep my adolescents in the Hatchery because its easier to figure out whose an adult and whose not so I can breed easier. Now the teens are going to be mixed in with the adults and its gonna be more difficult to breed.

It will definitely be a change to get used to.
But at the very least, there is an easier way to look through your pets. I use the advanced search myself.
You can search for pets owned by you (either with Username or userID) and set it to show only adults. You can also set it to show only the males or females, and you can limit the females to show those on or off for the breeding recovery. As well, it can show you the pets' traits and the like, and they can be sorted that way as well.
It's all much easier than using the stables in my opinion, since it shows everything on a single page, rather than using multiple tabs to see a pet's details. :)

Yup Xavion you are right. I can just type my username in and it shows all of my pets, and then I can go to genetics and it shows their genes. Way easier than the method I was using before (a spreadsheet and stables)
