The map doesn't appear on the map page. I just see "Click on a region of the map to view that region." Everything below it is blank. Refreshing doesn't fix it.

It sounds like the map isn't loading fast enough. Try visiting the page and letting it sit there for a minute or two. We use a very high res image for our map so that could be the case. Once it loads though, it will instantly load until you clear your browser cache.

I had the map page open while doing other stuff but it just didn't load. When I played later the map returned but other maps disappeared. I've also noticed some other images disappeared or were messed up and sometimes I get error messages.

Mozilla Firefox version 17.0.1 on Windows XP.

Hm. I toggled on an option that will let you refresh your cache. Can you try revisiting the World Map and doing a hard refresh to clear your cache and see if that works? (Shift+F5).
