Who watched last night? Did you like Capaldi? Please no spoilers.

I personally loved Capaldi as the Doctor. Him and those attack eyebrows. XD And, Clara's role seemed a bit stronger this time. Vastra and Jenny were hilarious as well as Strax, but I've always found them to be rather humorous. :P

Ooh, a fellow Doctor Who fan :D

So, first off, going into the episode I was quite worried. I'd already heard that a) Capaldi had argued with Moffat over the script and b) he refused to flirt with Jenna/Clara, which made me hopeful, but I also didn't have faith in Moffat to redeem the show after he (in my opinion) totally ruined it over the past couple years. As far as I'm concerned, the show just went downhill after the Tenth Doctor left, so... yeah.

However, I watched this episode twice- both on TV and in theatres- and I absolutely adored it! Every problem I've ever had with Moffat was completely void in this episode. The female characters, including Clara, were strong and more developed than any he's written before, Twelve managed to stay true to the identity of the Doctor while still bringing something new to the role, and the episode was both hilarious and very serious at the same time. Overall, I was a huge fan, and I'm totally gonna be following this season!

And yes, those attack eyebrows were wonderful :) LOL

I adored David Tennant. <3 Matt Smith was a pretty face, and kinda kooky, and I liked that. But, a lot of people I've heard aren't even giving Peter Capaldi a chance cuz he's not young and good looking. :(

I just adored Clara and Jenny in this episode. I've always like Jenny and Vastra, but disliked Clara cuz she seemed kinda, idk, not WEAK, but just very flat as a character, if you know what I mean.

And, on a semi related note, jammy dodgers are STILL sold out at the grocery store near me. XD

I have cried and yelled in excitment more with Matt than I did with David but honestly the last 3 Doctors have been just amazing. Rose of course is still may favorite companion. I am waiting to see how they take Clara this season. I wonder if River, Amy, and Rory will be back? I am nervous to see an older aged verison of the Doctor, but he did only do a partial regeneration due to his partial one way back where he didnt change faces.
