I'm not complaining because I'm too poor to buy one I'm actually just legitimately curious. Like, who decided that enhanced essences should be SOOOO MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than regular essences? The difference is staggering compared to the price of regular essences.

Enhanced Essences are much more rare to obtain without any diamonds, and when they are bought with diamonds they still cost quite a bit more. Most people just buy 2-4 or so normal essences and breed until they get that 4 gene point pet they want. :)

The main thing that makes Enh more expensive and sought after than regular essences is the fact that they provide four genopoints instead of two. This allows you to choose two visuals, four carrieds, or one visual and two carrieds. Plus, I think that the enhanced generator is more accurate with colors so if you need a color to be black, enhanced essences are better than using a regular and having to fight the pet dye swing.
Also, it is true that they're harder to find. I've been a member since the beginning and I've only gotten my hands on one enh Lupora essence through nurturing.

Also, their glow is purple.
