how does a player go about aquiring a pet that has a spesific name in purple(ex. Ice Pop Lupora, Chocolate Paws Lupora) i was just wondering if it has to be caught, bred, made? wasn't sure, thanks for any help!

"Tagged" pets are special themed pets that are found in the wild and can only be caught during festivals. :)

is there anyway to know which one is a tagged pet before you catch it?

If you're engaged in battle with a tagged pet, the tag will appear where it's name should be.
For example:

Instead of saying, "Wild Bulbori," it would say "Sweet Tea Bulbori," or some other tag.

Now that the fest is over, you can check the advanced search to see if there are any festival pets for sale. Or you can wait for the Fall Fest, which last year happened in October. And I think it's important to note that even during Festival they only pop up in the festival zone.

Did you have a favorite pet from the Summer themes?

There are so many that I have no clue which would be my favorite, but I like all feline and insects pets, so it'd probably be a type of Lighira or Vulnyx or Lunemara^^
