I'm not a very tech-savvy or message-board savvy person. I'm getting that out of the way so that the inevitable "create a thread for that" responses don't crush me with their multitudes :P

Perhaps we could have some sort of a Pet Bounty board created? By this I mean simply that someone can post one or two pets they'd like and how much they're willing to pay someone to find it. I, personally, fail at Searching (because of the lack of tech-savvy, not because there's anything wrong with the Search), and you're not guaranteed to find what you're looking for. With a bounty board, a player could say: I'm looking for a white Lunemara with Firefly, willing to pay x amount of gold.

The number of posts would have to be limited, of course, so that the board isn't too cluttered, and then, if you see a pet outside of the Festival times, it'd be easier to find out if anyone else would really like it. From there it would be a simple matter of contacting the interested party, and voila! One less unwanted pet cluttering up the general Search.

I don't know how this would be done, really. It's just a suggestion.

I agree, this sounds like a cool idea, though it does seem like it would be easiest done as a thread... Perhaps someone would like to make it? I would offer but I know it would take a lot of maintenance and I already have a ton of threads I'm in charge of.
