Today it seems I can't split stacks, which is weird, as I've been able to do so in the past, I've tried refreshing a few times, but it doesn't seem to be helping.

Make sure you're holding down the shift key before selecting the items and then continuing to hold it until you select the empty slot.
If it still won't work, you can try clearing your browser cache.
If that doesn't work, try using a different browser to see if it's specific to the browser you're currently using.
