If you a set a pet for a particular user, the for sale icon should be golden? Or at least there should be some indication.

Maybe add a tiny person-like over the icon, in some corner,
so you know it's for sale/breeding, but is for only one person!~ ^-^
Anything just big enough to be seen without hiding the original icon~ :o
(Then when you mouse over, it says to who you set it to(User and/or ID)?~ X3)
Would be of use for me, sometime, I forget I set pets for certain people to later get back and they get moved around, then I forget about them, unless I had put them in a special Stable/Tab for that~ o3o"

I support. It probably gets confusing if you're the person to whom the pet is set up for, especially if you lose the link or just kinda forget which pet it is. At least with this kind of thing, you'll know that you have some icon to look for.

Definitely support!
But for an easier-on-the-admins setup, how about a different color coin? Like red, copper, or something to that degree.
And maybe a purple heart for breedings set to specific users?
