Could someone help me please? What is it? and how do i get it? it has been driving me crazy lol.

Essences are items that allow you to create a pet the way you want it (with certain limitations). So a sylvorpa essence allows you to create a pet of the species sylvorpa.

To use an essence, go to the generator page. Choose the generator that is the same as your essence (regular, enhanced, or mythical - it's stated in the description of the item). Fill in the traits and colours you want your generated per to have (similar to creating your starter pet). Note that regular essences only have 2 genetic points (so either 1 visible or 2 carries), while enhanced and mythical have 4 genetic points (2 visible, 1 visible and 2 carries, or 4 carries). Once done, click generate pet. there will be some colour swings, so your pet may not look exactly the way you create it. Regular have more colour swings, and mythical has the least.

To get essences, you can either buy them from the diamond shop (using diamonds), buy them from other players on the trade broker (usually quite expensive), find them while nurturing (very rare), or find them while exploring and fighting (veryrare). You may also win it as forum game prizes or from spinning the wheel.

Regular essence on the trade broker is relatively cheap for most pets after you've spent a little bit of time on Sylestia. As you advance through the game, gold becomes much much easier to get, so don't feel daunted at first. ^^
