While I was in battle, I successfully captured a wild Zolnixi while it had a heal buff active. After I successfully captured it it still appeared on the battle screen and I was able to target and attack it, but after I ended my turn is said there was no target. I just used block/mend for all my pets to end the battle. I have the one I caught so there's no problem, I just thought it was a little weird, so I took a screenshot. I'm just too lazy to upload it unless someone actually wants to see it. ^_^; sooo lazy.
Edit: It was during a Mycanoid Invasion in the Fungus Grove, if that matters.

Thank you for the report.
Since you received your pet as intended and this happened on our oldest battle system, I'll chalk it up to just a quirky bug.
