my pet says its careing a trait but It not showed up on any offspring, will it ever show?

A carry trait has only a 50% chance of being passed down to its offspring.
And if it passes down, depending on whether both parents have their traits passed down, the kid may be a visible or carry. The only way to know is to genetically test the kid.
There are people offering free genetic testing on the breeding forum.
If the kid has no trait, means the carry wasn't passed down.
