I posted this in the re-release area but was told to put it here as well. The male and female Vulnyx seem to show a different colour for their inner ear.

I hadn't noticed this before, but I just checked a preview pair and it has different shades.




Yet this preview pair appears the same...

I've noticed this as well, and decided to check into the various themed pets.


Black Cat Vulnyx: Male takes a lighter color of the body (C1) while the Female takes on a lighter color of the ears (C3)



Halloween Vulnyx: Male takes on a lighter color of the body (C1) again, while the Female takes on a lighter color of the ears (C3)



In cases where the colors are similar, such as the Fresh Earth Vulnyx, the change is barely noticeable. This is probably the reason why some of them appear to 'avoid' it.

If this is actually a bug and not just an interesting intentional gender-specific thing, then I hope that being able to point out where the colors come from is helpful in resolving the issue. :D

I realize this is *slightly* off-topic, but I just noticed this is happening with the color of their claws as well.. but only really noticeable with the large version of the image.

I thought the claws are just a darker Main Color 1.

I'm not sure how that works.. darker color 1 seems about right. I was just pointing out that the colors vary on males and females much like the inner ear colors do.

I haven't seen the claw variation myself, but it seems that at the moment the ears are going to stay. I personally don't mind that much, it's such a small thing. Could be a bit confusing for a breeding project though, I suppose.
