I've tried to buy some higher level pets than what I have but each time I try to add one to my party, it says they are too high of level. One of my current pets is level 28 and I tried to add a level 32 but its too high. How does this level thing work?

You can only control pets that are equal to or lower than your user level. So if you user level is 28, you could not control a level 29 or above. I hope that helps!
