What type or what should I look for when purchasing a new pet for my party? I see some lvl 13s with only like 400 health and then some level 0's with like 1000 health for sale.

Just wondering what people look for when they buy something new for their party.

I'm not sure I can give you direct advice, but something to also consider is that you can philter ready-to-hatch egglings to give them a boost (scale shop sells philters, and you can also buy them from the broker).

Appreciate it, I just notice I see some level 0 pets with like 1000 HP then see a level 13 with only 500 hp. Then notice sometimes I see a pet for 7,000,000 gold then see the same pet for only 1 gold.

Just was wondering what to consider when buying something new for my party. Since it seems like genes and mutations are simply cosmetic features.

Yeah, certain users breed sylestis for stats. Also, fabled pets (griffi, ligh, nyvene, etc.) naturally have higher stats, as far as I know. I think you should be able to go pretty far just by statting and equipping decently... (because that's what I did, haha), so in the end, it's up to you.

Since when you level pets up you can up their stats, they don't really matter unless you are looking for an incredibly strong Sylesti. Honestly, I think you should just pick one you like, it's always fun to battle with your favorites!

Something to keep in mind when comparing stats of Sylesties you can buy:

You cannot currently tell from a pets profile whether or not their stat points and proficiencies have been applied. So even if you are comparing similar sylesties at the same level, their points could be wildly different! If you want to buy pets specifically for stats, I would suggest looking at very low level pets and using experience orbs to level them. And hopefully the revamped pet profiles will be better about giving us this kind of information!
