I think it would be fun to have a Pet of The Week chosen by users, based on various themes chosen by admins. If the theme is 'Spring' you'd submit a pet that best represents that, users vote on the pet they think best fits the theme and the one with the most votes wins that week. The pet, and owner, would then be highlighted on the homepage. A user couldn't win more than once every 6 months or so to give everyone a chance. I don't know, I just thought this might be fun. Other sites do it and people seem to look forward to it.

I know the admins do a lot of updating during the week and would possibly be able to fit this into their schedules maybe xD but seeing as how busy they really are, I think there should be a group of users (like moderators) who do the Pet of the Week instead. Chosen by the admins, of course. :D Otherwise I think this would be a lot of fun !!!

Snow, I like your take on the idea as well! Any way they'd like to do it...if they'd like to do it!...would be great! I think it would be something that everyone would have fun with. Also, there would be some kind of 'Pet of the Week' hall of fame or some such, where all of the past winners were listed where everyone could go look and see them all if they wanted to. The pet would also receive some kind of star, or little badge, on their profile, marking them forever as a past Pet of the Week winner.

This wouldn't be about 'who has the most beautiful pet'. This would be about a pet that represents the theme, which could be anything. The owner of the pet would contribute a few lines about the pet, explaining why it deserves the win. That alone would count a lot. It's not a beauty contest, just making that clear. :) For example, the theme could be 'oldies', meaning they were looking for a pet that was made at the very beginning of the game, say within the first month or so. Or the theme could be 6 visibles. Or the theme could be pets with no genes/mutations at all. Or the theme could be Hell, where they look for scary pets, or Angels, where they look for angelic ones. XD The possibilities are endless, giving everyone on the game a chance to enter cool pets and giving everyone else the opportunity to enjoy seeing them. :) It's something the whole user base could participate in and I really do think users would enjoy it.
