Hi,
I'm wondering for what are genes and for what are mutations. I've just found out about breeding with other pets and I want to know more about them and if only 1 of parents has (for example) pegasus wings will his/her child have them or not or is it 50/50?
Thanks for all answers.

Ahh I did not really understand that first part so sorry if I give you information you already know.
Genes are adaptations of the art within the lines of the image and mutations extend beyond the borders of the lines.
for breeding:
Carry x Carry = 25%vis 50%carry 25%nothing
Carry x Nothing = 50%carry 50%nothing
Vis x Nothing = 100%carry
Vis x Carry = 50%vis 50%carry
Vis x Vis = 100%vis

Edit: Darn, I was beat. xD oh woes of phone!
Gonna look for my picture anyways aha
Here it is
Pets have 6 slots, 3 for genes and 3 for mutations.
Genes are markings (within the original body).
Mutations are additional accessories on the body (adding external lineart on the original).
Think of genes like tattoos on your body or drawings on the body.
Think of mutations like... Growing a horn or wings.
As for genetics, it depends whether the trait is visible or carried. I have a good picture somewhere...

One more question.
What about if 1 of the parents is for example Patriotic Qitari and other isn't, what are the odds for child to be Patriotic Qitari?

unfortunately parents do not pass on their titles so the child would not have a title. Nor would it be a pure bred which in general people prefer to halfcast. (it is why when there is only a few of one title those people band together to breed as opposed to letting the pet be free bred.

If they're in the gene or mutation slot, they mean there's a hidden trait behind a dominant one. The B gene is dominant to to the D or F gene, so it's the B gene that is visible.
You can breed the hidden D or F into their children.
