This is one thing I just can't seem to find.. a search for the forums. Mostly I would like to be able to find my own old topics but there isn't even a link on the profile as far as I can tell :(

Nope, no way at the moment to search stuff on forums. x:
Alternatives are just bookmarking on your browser for now. x:

You can use the power of Google to search for your old posts and such.
Type something like site:sylestia.com/forums Dreamcrystal into Google's search bar (or Chrome's address bar if you use it) to search the forums for all instances of your name, which will include all forum posts and threads. You can add terms to narrow your search as necessary.
