I'm wondering how my eggs get more clicks and how many do they need them. Is it different for species or all of them have the same number of clicks?

Eggs and hatchlings get clicks or nurtures through the nurturing system, which all eggs and hatchlings appear on. There is also a chance that random players will click your eggs just to be nice. You can also post a link to your egg on the official nurture thread which can be found in the general chat section of the forums. Finally, you can post the link to friends or on other sites if they allow for you to do so.
As for how many you need: none. Eggs hatch after a certain number of hours, and do not need clicks. However, clicks can reduce the amount of time it takes for them to hatch. I'm not sure how many clicks reduce it by how long.
