What's going on? I can't do anything in my battle, the enemy isn't there and I'm getting this warning:

Warning: mysql_free_result(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/tbbryant/public_html/explore/newzone/index.php on line 237

I got frustrated and had to run...

I'm brand new today, and am trying to do a quest, where I have to battle, and I'm getting the error, also.

Can you guys provide some more information regarding these issues?

What zone did this happen in?
A specific battle or random battle?
Anything else that can help me pinpoint the cause?

I was in the festival zone in a random battle.

Erm, all I can remember is that I was battling, I got logged out, and when I logged back in I had this problem. Logging out and back in didn't solve it either. I hadn't tried another browser before I tried running.

I'm going to try again today, and I'll save all the info for you. (so sorry, I should have thought of that in the first place)
I do remember, that it was a quest, I was to fight?...D....heh. I want to say Druken..but that wasn't it! lol. Durken?....shoot. Like I said, I'll be going in just a moment, and will bring back the info for you.

Alright. It didn't do it, and I finally manged to find Dreadnaught (sorry about the name confusion earlier).

I do remember, it was the "Defend the Windmill" quest, and when I hit the 'Battle' link on the drop down menu, is when i was getting the error's.

Now i'm going to have to go through the forum, and read more of the newbie info, because it seems, that some how, when i finished the Dreadnaught fight, I accept the next quest (in the Troll caves) but it seems, that my pet is no longer in a "party"

and I can not add to a party, because I'm on a quest.

The error was displaying because you were in a battle against no enemy. This then caused the error b/c the code was trying to do something with something that didn't exist.

So I'm trying to figure out why you both got into battles against no enemy. But I'm not really sure why still at this point.

But... I was fighting a Morkko and was going to deal the final blows when I was logged out and that happened.

My guess would be that you did, and while it was calculating the battle summary functions, the connection was severed to the server. This caused it not to finish and not to remove you from the battle despite deleting the enemy entry. The severed connection could have also logged you out.

Then, when you reloaded the page, it attempted to load your battle and its enemies, but couldn't find any enemies. Thus, an error was displayed since that's a scenario that should never happen.

At least, that would be my best guess of what happened.
