After a pet levels to 60, how does one get more proficiency points? My level 60 can only use 12 points right now.

Everyone is stuck at lvl60 until new content comes in an update.
So you can only use 12 prof points for now.

You will, one day. xD But for now, Sylestia's just trying to revamp and stuff before growing, I think. c:
I think of it growing horizontally than vertically. Instead of building up one or a few pets, Sylestia's at a stage that's trying to fix up the foundations before actually updating and developing the rest of the storyline, so it gives people time towards other things, such as breeding cooler pets and leveling up those.

Gotcha, besides, breeding is definitely more fun than battling :)
