If on the last day of every month I must be forced to see , I would really appreciate a "hide" feature.

While I can understand wanting a hide feature, I'm a little confused as to why it feels so necessary. The warning goes up for a few hours when something important needs to be announced. My only personal complaint is that it shares the same alert as the zone events, so it can be confusing...

... but the alert has only been up for a few hours at most. Is there something that makes it completely intolerable to deal with for 12 hours or so once a month?

The MotD is kinda a makeshift feature implemented out of necessity a long time ago. Since then, I've just used it to display relevant, and sometimes important, information.

Eventually, I will convert it into a fully developed feature for the new layout and it will function much more friendlier.
