i really can not defeat level 15 3 star bandit overseer its to hard and they keep defeating my pet it wont let me get a second pet i completed the catching a sylesti quest and i have enough gold it just wont let me get my second pet for battling

Did you open the reward satchel from the quest in your Inventory? That is actually the trigger.
