Each of the fairy tales you have been told is true, all descending from 'the story.' The story is an essence, a being if you like, which all imagination branches off from. 'The story' has many different tales which have to be completed in order to satisfy it, which have come to be known as 'fairy' tales. This is a stupid name for something so dark and twisted. Take little red riding hood for example. The girl was not a child who made cookies for her granny who lived in the woods, she was an assassin who's job it was to satisfy the needs of the person who had the biggest wallet. In this instance it happened to be a shape shifter, plaguing the village, but I won't bore you with the details of that story. As I was saying, from each generation there is a chosen few who are selected to continue the story. Each will re-live 5 fairy tales, you may be selected to be with another, you may not, but you do not get to decide. It will be presented to you when you least expect, and you will not see it coming. These stories will not be the 'happy ever after' tales you were told as a child, these are fraught with lethal danger, do not take this lightly. The aim is quite simple, complete the story and you get to live. If you don't, you will never get to leave the place you most fear.

I will allocate a fairy tale to each character once the RP has started, but you do not have to start it straight away. I will try and make it so that all your characters will get to work with each other to complete a tale at SOME point! These tales are not happy and lovely so this might get quite gory! If it gets so gory that I get complaints however I'll take action, but I really doubt it will come to that! I will add more details if nessecary. Try not to complete the tale in like, 10 posts, because that will just make the whole RP really short.

Concentrates well... She's extremely intelligent. She is trapped in her own mind...you'll see. Has a bad habit of biting on things.
Brief History: Extreme intelligence. But has a strange condition...you'll get to know her. She's has albinism. Some people call her 'Miss. Vampire'. Because her skin is pale and in bright light her eyes are reddish. Some of her teeth are crooked at an angle that makes it look like she has fangs. Has a bad habit of biting things and making herself bleed.

"Repeat after me." Mrs. Genilos said. "No... I know already..." Kiera whispered gently, refusing to look up from her open textbook. Her teacher had not heard. "Octoginta septem annis, et patres nostros protulit in hoc continente novam nationem in libertate conceptam, et dedicatam ad propositum quod omnes homines pares creantur. Nunc autem, cum in..." She heard the rest of the kids in the classroom clumsily repeat what the teacher said. She already knew the Gettysburg Address. Of course she did. She knew how to speak Latin. So she understood what they were saying... She wanted to shout something out, but kept her mouth shut tight. Something in her told her not to. Sometimes, she felt like she was trapped. Trapped in her mind... Trapped to have no freedom... She sometimes felt like a programmed robot... Sometimes random words and phrases pope out of her mouth without realizing it and sometimes she couldn't say anything if she wanted to. Maybe it had something to do with her brain and delayed actions. Probably. Her limbs sometimes moved too fast before she thought about it or didn't move at all and would move a few minutes later...yes. She had a strange life, a strange life. Though sometimes, she had compete control of her voice, or occasionally, complete control over her limbs. And rarely, sometimes she'd have complete control of both her voice and body... Then one day, a stranger came to the palace and gave strange news to the king and queen, and Velvet heard tiny smudges of their conversation. She decided to follow him.

SHORT, SHORT Paragraph of character in day to day life: Don't know what to say....... Don't know what kind of fairy tale it is but I RP pretty long as long as the person I'm RPing with gives me enough to RP with. Here's an example from another RP, War

"Humph. That's your loss if I die. You won't have any bait for Eric and father to come find me and then you won't be able to kill them!" Amber shouted down the staircase. Making her way up still, she was about 1/8th of the way up she supposed. No traps yet. Jogging up now, she came up to a spot that had rocks. She picked up a handful and every 20 ft or so, threw one down to see if there were any traps. Every time she threw one and nothing happened, she would pick the rock back up and keep going. She made a lot of turns and finally had to sit down. She had no food or water, so she had to hurry. Standing up again, she walked double time and a little while after, came upon a trap. Arrows shot past her, and she whipped her sword out and blocked each of them, making them fall to the ground. One of them had gotten past her sword however and had lodged itself in her left arm. Good thing I use my right arm to swordfight she thought. Walking on, a bit more cautious now, she went on and turned another 17 times before coming upon another trap. This time it was a motion sensor bomb. She threw a rock, and it exploded in midair. Throwing another few, they all exploded until she threw one and it didn't explode. Walking on, she could see sunlight coming from somewhere above her and sprinted now, stopping only every 20 ft to throw a rock. She didn't come upon any more traps, of which she was lucky because she was sure there were plenty down there. Coming out into open daylight, she shivered. She didn't know this place. There was a small food and drink stand nearby though. She could smell it. Tripping over her own feet in exhaustion, she made it to the stand and asked for some food and water. When the person asked for payment, Amber lifted her head and explained to the woman who she was, making the woman apologize and ask what happened. After explaining, Amber asked the woman for a pair of clothes and when she was dressed and refreshed, she collapsed on a bed the woman let her borrow and fell fast asleep.

Oh I've got to join this! But with the amount I'm on now, I think I'll need to take a step back... Can I join this once it's started? Or is this the only period we can join? I do like gore ^^

Could you please expand on the history slightly, because that gives me no idea of what your character is like! XD just put something like:
'She grew up with 2 brothers and her parents. They were happy they went to school, had a good education. Nothing out of the ordinary just a regular family.'
Short and sweet! Just change that and then form accepted!!!!! ^u^

Brief History: His family are hunters, and he grew up in a country where snow was a common thing. Taught how to use a gun to help with hunting, he one day went out to hunt on his own, and ended up finding a wounded wolf. Taking care of her - the wolf was female, and his parents had allowed it - it became his pet, named Fuyu.

A male shifted his weight on the branch he sat on, as he drew his gun to eye level. A wolf stayed below him, ready to finish off the job if he missed. Closing an eye, he squinted, aimed, and fired. Due to the silencer in his gun, no sound was heard, and Fuyu, the wolf, ran up, biting the deer's neck. The boy - Soran - took out his dagger, and jumped from the tree on which he sat on. "Dead?" The wolf tapped the body, and nodded. Soran sighed, and closed the deer's eyes before he tried moving it.

Name: Sun Shangxiang ((Say Sun like Soon, cause that's how it's said in chinese ><))
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Personality: Boisterous, unlike other traditional Chinese women, Sun Shangxiang was a female warrior, a tomboy if you will. She never liked dainty things such as sewing and cooking, though could do them well. In her household - her brother was a warlord - she had female attendants with her, all whom could use weapons. I guess one could compare her to Mulan, the female general, since both shared similar personality traits. She wields chakrams ((wind and fire wheels)), a dagger and a bow which she calls 'Madder Rose'. She can also be quite compassionate, but can be ruthless as well. Intelligent, she has yet to lose a battle, due to her and her brothers combined strategies.
Brief History:
Sun Shangxiang was born to a warlord family, in sense a noble family ((In other words she's a princess)), and had five brothers, she herself being the sole female. It makes it kind of obvious as to where her tomboyishness came from. She's the middle child, with two younger siblings. Working hand in hand with her three older brothers, she led soldiers against fight before, and works as a strategist along with her second oldest brother. Having to lead a section of the army, Shang took extensive martial arts lessons, and learned how to socialize with other leaders, like a diplomat, and all in all took on a role as a boy, not that of a female that was expected in her time. She can act like a 'normal' female to fool others though, since she's rather good at acting.
Major weakness: She's not exactly strong, and can't lift heavy objects, such as swords without a little trouble.
Major strength: Her accuracy and speed.

Sun Shangxiang readied her bow, closing one eye to aim. "Steady...." As she notched an arrow, she noticed the rest of the archers around her tense up, waiting for her command. "Now!" And a rain of arrows were let loose into the air, striking down multiple enemies.
"Switch stances!" The archers heard her command, and fired as many arrows as they could before jumping down, readying their swords, daggers and other types of close combat weapons. The leader herself took out her chakrams, throwing them at an enemy soldier, slicing his head clean off his neck. As the chakram 'flew' back into her hand - it was like a boomerang - she wasted no time in grabbing it and swiftly turning around, blocking an incoming sword blow.
"Tch." Clicking her tongue, she flicked her dagger from it's hidden position in her arm guards, and it pierced the enemy's chest. Grabbing the dagger with her mouth - she could live with fighting like that - she proceeded on to the next soldier, and the battle was quickly won. "Too easy."

Hiya, I would love to join this, I just wanna know first if you need a guy or not (coz I'm happy to rp as a guy, but if there isn't a fairy tale for one then I won't!) XD

It's completely up to you! It won't really matter what gender the characters are, it won't affect the fairy tales, but I have a feeling there's gonna be a lot of girls in this RP, so it would be useful to have a guy somewhere! :D

Am I allowed to change my char to a guy? XD The pic works both ways, surprisingly... Unless it's just me, and I can't tell the diff between girls and guys...
