anyway, hiya!! :D I'm Ginkgo. you can call me finn or finch too, or "that guy over there", or really whatever. my pronouns are he/they/it (with no particular preference of one over any other). good to meet ya! :]
some quick, uh, icebreaker-type facts about me? I think that's what goes on threads like these, idk.
-> I mostly play on mobile (phone or tablet, depending on if I'm at home or at work)! started a little wonky but that double-tap bug fix really helped. (major thanks to the devs!!!!!)
-> I live in the PNW but I work graveyard shift full-time, so my online hours may be a little wonky and I might take a bit to respond if you message me at like, 3pm Sylestia time. sorry about that! I am asleep.
-> I am autistic and transmasc nb / acearo :]
-> I tend to overuse emoticons and punctuation because I've been told I'm not great at communicating tone over text. I apologize if it's annoying at all, but I'd also hate to accidentally come across as mean or upset!! augh.
-> I have a pet leopard gecko named Pebble. (he's a Total Eclipse leo with the cutest little thigh-high sock faux-piebald markings, for those who know about leopard gecko morphs!) I wanted a leo really badly as a kid so it's cool to be able to have one now. survive until adulthood, kids, there's lizards out here! :D
-> I make potion bottle fidget toys out of empty bottles and household chemicals (paraffin oil, isopropanol, and saturated brine can make a fun 3-layer density tube that will separate back out after you shake it!)
-> I also really like bugs, especially weird moths, spiders, and isopods.
-> besides Sylestia, I play FR and CS (though I only tend to play one petsite at a time. I get fixated lol).

(I actually probably have a super dead and forgotten account on this site, with how old it is and how up-my-alley it'd have been when I was in like middle school. unfortunately I used a different username for every site back then and my school email is long since nuked, so there's no way to know for sure :'])
-> I also play ffxiv, mh:wilds, minecraft, and ultrakill. I am very bad at the latter and mediocre at the first three, but I have fun anyway. I'm trying to learn code and blockbench so I can make my own minecraft mods, wish me luck!

but for the fest, I've been trying out a new team comp to really gun for sylvorpa placements. behold: my cool amphibians.
 
I feel like I could probably swap out my shadow tank for another dps (air?) but I'm still figuring things out so having the wiggle room to heal my tank two ways versus just the one is really nice.
My favorite species of sylesti is sylvorpas, though I also quite like luffoxes/zolnixi/bulbori/faelora.
I really love g1 african gecko / emperor angelfish, g2 alpine newt, g3 abyssal runes / saltwater betta, m1 lotus scales / abyssal garb / water dragon fins, m2 lotus flowers / dragonfly wings, and m3 seaweed whirlwind.
My first projects are going well! I'm up to 4c on some of my ghostly specter sylvorpa and 3c on my glowing tidepool sylvorpa.
I'm not really sure what else to add here...? sorry if this was a bit much, aha.
