Hello!
I was recently looking into breeding and discovered eggs could not be released due to past issues.
My suggestion was to create a possible NPC within the game or in future content that could accept eggs from the player and essentially get rid of eggs people don't want while breeding, so it wouldn't count towards nurturing.
In game lore could be written as this npc would take the eggs from the player to hatch and release back into the wild/certain area, ect. ( these would never show up to players, its just a story reason as to why they are accepting eggs )
If that couldn't be done due to limitations, maybe a check mark style system that would show/hide eggs from the nurturing ground? That way players could link their grounds without it showing the possible 100+ eggs they don't care about.
Thanks for reading and thank you for the awesome work you do!

If I add in the Nurturing change where released pets remain Nuture-able for the remainder of the current day, I will probably then re-allow Egglings to be released.

oh cool! I think I heard whispers of that change in chat but was unsure what exactly that would do since I'm still a bit newbie lol.
Thanks for taking the time to respond!
