The Basics
Though my username is HauntingSpirit, my real name is Dandy (short for Dandelion), though I don't mind being called either Haunt or Spirit. I'm really not breaking the 'nonbinary people have strange names' stereotype, huh?
I'm a relatively easygoing person, and although I'd consider myself conflict-avoidant, I will not hesitate to stand up for myself, others and what I believe in. I value honesty and kindness over all else; honesty without kindness is cruelty, and kindness without honesty is manipulation, as the saying goes.
I used to volunteer as a stablehand at a horse ranch, although I had to quit due to health complications. I enjoy working with animals and have a pet dog of my own, named Bonnie (not like the FNAF animatronic). In my future, I see myself continuing my work as a stablehand, with a few art-related jobs on the side.
I'm an artist and writer, and I've always been one. I'm currently working on a novel series that I began in 2014. I write with the hopes of publishing- maybe you'll see my work on a library shelf in the future. Who knows? I also enjoy playing video games such as Zelda and Pokmon; the latter actually being my special interest. I'm also big into anime, manga and music, and my genre preference is vast. I also practice stage combat, and am proficient in unarmed, knife, broadsword, and lightsabre.
I wouldn't consider myself to be an overtly outgoing or extroverted person; if anything, I'm an introvert with a strange and whimsical nature that draws people in. I open up more once I get to know someone, and then I become more social. I don't make an active effort to enter people's inner circles, though it tends to happen anyway, and I've made more friends by being kind than by making an active effort to get people to like me. I'm joyous and whimsical, and people tend to like that.
