Ive just built the trading post in the Lost Grove and there is an option to upgrade which is green (so I assume im eligable to upgrade) not sure if it is either 100,000 gold or 200 branches or if it is both. Tried clicking on the Gold option it will not let me upgrade. I have the gold but not all the branches
Is this a bug? or do I need both the Gold and the branches

When I go to upgrade mine, the pop-up says "It will cost the following to Upgrade to Rank X of the Trading Post." So, you do need all the listed materials in addition to gold.

you need both the listed supplies and the correct amount of gold to upgrade barracks buildings
