It's dark, cold. You shiver a little bit and look at your surroundings- a lab, with lined cages seemingly going on forever. You hear cries and voices on your left and right, but you think nothing of it. You have gotten used to the sounds of agony coming from the dark doors at the end of the hall. Once a normal person goes in there, they are never the same afterword.

Yes, no matter what you want to think, you are not human anymore. In this lab, horrible experiments take place on unwilling subjects. The results are called "Subhumans" and are trained for the purpose of being living weapons. Their abilities and appearances vary, but currently there are 5 types of Subhumans:
Diclonius- Human appearance, with two small horns on either side of head that allow telekinetic powers
Aerion- Human appearance, with large wings of any color on their back. Hollow bones allow easy breaks but give the power of flight.
Titinian- Human appearance, very durable skin, and incredible strength.
Whispers- Ears, tail, teeth, and eyes of an animal of the scientist's choosing, can communicate with said animal. Increased sense of smell.
Automous- Less than human appearance, with mechanical limbs, eyes, ect. Has increased speed and jumping.

You were kidnapped, taken from your homes just for the sake of this experiment. Some don't even remember their parents....but some still do. But the scientists made sure everyone forgot about you.
Now, in preparation for your future job as a destroyer, all Subhumans are given harsh training daily.

I read the first sentence or two of "The Lab". Then I started to think about SiFi and Elfen Lied...then catboys....and then I read some stuff about this video game with other types of humans, and there was (un)healthy doses of Tv Tropes involved.
