Summary:

In legend, there lived a woman, one of such kindness that even the monstrous nature of the world's most feared creature, the dragon, came to her side in great times of need. This woman lived a hundred years before her time finally came and she was called to the side of the gods. Now, hundreds of years into the future, a group of teenagers must ask for the help of the dragons, who now rule the world. Will they succeed? Or will they fail and cause the world as they know it, to come to a very gruesome end? It's all up to you.

Rules:
1. Abide by Sylestia forum rules.
2. If a character should die, because you are uninterested in this story anymore, or just don't want to continue in general, please let me know.
3. Up to 2 characters per person. It can be tough keeping up with them past that point.
4. The element of the dragon you choose WILL be determined by me, once I make the roleplay forum. I find it to be easier that way. If you would like to make it obvious as to which one your character will resonate with most, you may do so. Or state it plainly in your character's data/information post. This DOES NOT mean you are guaranteed that element.
5. The backstory will be explained further as the roleplay moves forward. Ideas may come to me on the spot, and the beginning forum may be edited.
6. Please do try to keep replies at a minimum until everyone that I would like to join has replied. I don't want anyone to be too confused.
7. Replies should be kept down to one post. If you play as two characters, put them both on the same one.
8. Reply again once EVERYONE ELSE has gotten a chance to do so.
9. Please keep your replies regular. I will try my best, so I expect the same of you.
10. Finally, I will try my best to describe, and type, a lot of scenery, and actions, so I expect you to do the same. no less than a paragraph.

Personality: Cecilia is kind. She can be shy, and gentle, and maybe just a bit jumpy. She is incredibly intellectual, and rather enjoys reading. History is her favorite subject. She likes to learn about dragons.

Abilities(Most characters will have one.): She has the undiscovered ability to fuse with her specific dragon, giving her almost inhuman features when doing so. When fused, the dragons abilities become her own.

[ personality | once one child among many, yoonji voices herself with well-spoken charisma and easygoing confidence. its a notion that extends to her movements, her dexterity innate in a way that speaks of a childhood of practice sprinting across fields and scampering up treetops. similarly, she gives of the impression off intelligence, not in the way of the books she admits to being troubled when reading, but in the ways of dirt and natural truths, of the complex nature of people and relationships. from the realization, its possible to see why she embraces the little beauties of nature like perfection, finding blissful satisfaction in the smallest pleasures of life, and why she pursues connections like a moth to flame, undaunted of the possibility of pain; the latter of which, when combined with the occasional sight of her scars interlaced across her stomach, paints a picture of someone who's seen their fair share of pain yet continues to smile in a silent revolution.

[ clan | the beongae clan. in the past, they struck out across their land like the lightning they were named after, content to spend their lives sowing their fields. yet, over the last few centuries, they've been displaced by clan politics, left to clump together in a small, confined community in their now contested homeland. despite the scarcity of their lifestyle, yoonji remembers her childhood fondly, speaking of memories where the entirety of her family by blood and by bonds gathered come nightfall to share their dinner in cheerful unity.

[ backstory | work in process.

[ other | yoonji carries a small, roughly-carved ukulele. she has trouble digesting tougher meats as a result of her stomach injury and tends to avoid eating them. her thoughts on love leave her open only to close friends, though to ones of any gender.

[ abilities | saved for later when i think of something. it's getting a bit late on my end, so i'll be heading off to sleep soon. as a question for when i continue, would you be open to any form of magic, or would you expect this to be linked to the dragons in some way?

I would prefer it being linked to the dragons. Ill be making the thread shortly, so dont be in a rush to think of something!
