This might be a stupid question but how long does it take for a sylesti to mature into an adult, I just recently got back into my acct and forgot.

depends, but pets that have just become adolescent or been created via the generator take 18 days (432 hours)
This can be lessened via use of magical pies

I bought a couple and they are going on 21 days and still adolescent. Is there any reason why they are taking longer? Im still a bit confused

as said, that's the time from the start of adolescence.
A chain of newly bred egg>hatchling>adolescent growth with no intervention (nurtures/magical pies) takes a total of 27 days- 648 hours- to hit adulthood
(eggling, 3 days, hatchling, 6 days, adolescent, 18 days)
