Hi, what is the ancient armor mould?? I got it from the secret map thingy. Well, I got two. What are they for?

They're one of the three different 'base' pieces that are used in the construction of Primordial gear.
You need one base piece per gear piece.
Armor mould is, as the name indicates, for an armor piece
The other two are the relic disc, for making a relic, and the accessory clasp, for, well, making an accessory/bracer

So is it good that I have it, then? I haven't progressed that far in the LG. It won't just disappear if I haven't gotten that far, will it?

it will remain in your lost grove storage until such time as you either use it or sell it for lost grove tokens
