I just thought of this:
If someone has say, 11 stables, and most are used for specific project pets, then they may forget which stable has which project pets, and it would save time for them to have a name on their stable so that they could find the pets that they need.
Example:
RandomUser could have her 11 stables, and her Mountain Snow Griffi are in stable 9, and her Heavenly Light Griffi are in stable 10, well RandomUser forgot which stable is for which pets, and she needs her Heavenly Light ones, so if her stables had names according to the project, she would be able to hover over stable 10 and see that it's named Heavenly Light, and get the pets she needs.
I don't know if this makes sense, but i hope it does :)
