To add to what the other player said, if you want to make a clickable link, after copying your link and pasting it into the text box, highlight it, then click the blue URL button(Not the blue URL= button) that's above the forum message box.
That'll create a clickable link for you.
It would look similar to this(Excluding the periods in the brackets used to keep the example visible, brackets in bold to clarify):
[url.]https://www.sylestia.com/stables/?player=165039[/url.]
Using the blue URL= button on the other hand, would make a text link, like this
