Victoria went to work, as usual. As much as she hated it, it was the best way to find people to be unwilling sacrifices for her to feed on. While she didn't need it often, Vic still needed it. She liked the regular working-class' blood. It tasted better than jocks or the rich or the extremely poor. She huffed and sat down in her office chair, resting her head on her hand. Maybe she would quit; nobody would miss her anyway.
Vicky stared into space for what seemed like forever before she was interrupted by her 'superior' loudly placing a stack of papers on her desk. Without a word, they left. She then stared at the papers for an obscene amount of time. Then, she logged onto her computer and started to play solitaire.
Ezhno was preparing to leave his house, setting the deer skull on a hook. He wasn't like the rest of the community; he was proudly Native American. Hence, because of his lack of a shirt and, most of the time, shoes, it was hard for him to find a job. He was still on the search for one, and while there were plenty of greedy CEOs, he couldn't possess them and have them do anything he wanted. The best thing he could do was make them eat their workers, which wasn't exactly helpful for him. Ezhno had no nice/work clothes.
He started out of the house with a bright outlook on the day. So far, so good. Nothing had made it bad so far, so, here he was.

Delphin walked out of her home, hood over head covering her hair as she locked the door. She turned looking onto her street her eyes narrowed as she huffed trying to ignore the happy neighbor to the right as they tried to start happy morning conversations and she huffed, the neighbors looked at each shrugging as she started her walk for the Caf. She waitresses there full-time. She hated people but she needed a job to survive.
Jackson walked tripping on a risen sidewalk, going to the convenience store for his job, he just stocked shelves and mops floors. Since he wasn't much of a people person always trying to avoid getting asked where something is, and straight up ignores "regular" people with his sense of smell he could tell some people were not "regular". His boss yelled at him as he entered the store, for being late and incompetent. Of course Jackson ignored him still walking to get ready for work.

Victoria jumped when someone spoke behind her; she whipped around and stood, coming nose to nose with yet another 'superior'. Just because she looked young, everyone assumed she was inexperienced. If only they knew. They would all be bowing down to her, begging for their pathetic lives. Not like she would kill anyone; just hurt them for a little bit.
They demanded Vicky get coffee. Vic bristled, baring her teeth in some semblance of a smile. "Yes, ma'am," she replied, making it clear that she did not enjoy the task. The lady just fake-smiled back. "You know where my office is," she replied shortly before walking off.
Vic rolled her eyes and went on a mission to find the coffee maker. Unfortunately for her, after she had done everything, the coffee maker started spitting out the coffee but then stopped and made a strange sound. "You've got to be kidding me," she mumbled, juggling the pot around to see if that would fix it. It didn't. She sighed. She'd have to go down to the coffee shop or the convenience store for a cold one. Vic started out of the building.
Ezhno walked around, entering about any building that would let him in, politely asking for a job. Of course, most places either wouldn't let him in or turned him down as soon as they laid eyes on him. This was a little disheartening, but the day was young. He still had plenty of daylight to figure his life out.

Delphin walked into the coffee shop, taking off her hoodie and getting on a waitress apron, in nothing but a T-shirt, and jeans. She approached some tables taking down their orders, she walked behind the retro sit at island bar between the kitchen and dining area. "Sir, we don't serve decaf here... If you want decaf go buy it from the supermarket" She said in a monotone voice towards the grumpy human, the man grumbled an insult and Delphin's silver eyes narrowed as she shook her head and the man stomped out.
Her boss muttered angerly looking at Delphin and she broke the eye contact, making her way with food, drinks, and handing to-go cups to people who worked office jobs.
Jackson grabbed the long cart, grabbing the first thing he had to put on the shelves. He wheeled the cart to the isle and started stocking the items, hearing kids crying and toddlers running around screaming, the things he smelled were completely different. He trained his nose to smell for any vomit that children may have left, but he also trained it to smell for expired food.

When it was finally Vic's turn to order, she ordered an over complicated coffee as though she was stalling. Which she was. She didn't want to go back. It wasn't very often she got the chance to leave the office during work. Hence, she would drag her feet the entire way, quite possibly literally.
Ezhno eventually wandered into a store. He wandered around, just looking. He had to make sure he kept his hands to himself.
(Sorry for the short reply, I'm afk for the rest of the night)

Delphin worked tirelessly her hands working as she huffed, her hair was done up in a ponytail to make sure her hair remained away from food. I leaned on the counter for a second of free time as she rubbed her temples, trying to make it through the day without throwing coffee at someone.
Jackson smelled someone unusual as most people that smelled like he could smell, didn't interact with this store much. But it was rare for them to come in. He scouted the store to make sure they were safe, and to make sure he was safe as he didn't want to start a fight.

Victoria had her arms crossed, tapping her foot, but not impatiently. She was planning. About how long could she stay away before people started getting suspicious that she was gone? For a coffee...it wouldn't be long at all unless she could somehow use the excuse of an incredibly long line. Even then, surely that would only buy a few minutes. But wait. What about a broken coffee machine? Surely that could buy her more time.
Ezhno wandered the store, looking at all the goods, although none interested him any more than the other. None of them looked appealing to him. He could smell the greed of the people he passed by, which made him hunger. Unfortunately, now was not the time nor the place. He couldn't make a scene in front of...everybody. Besides, the hunger was something he was quite used to.

(Is Victoria in the coffee shop Delphin works at?)
Delphin kept working her eyes watching for anyone who finished or needed help, as well as helping people order up front her hands working quickly and she hummed as she noticed a few of the eat in people were not "normal people" as they caused her no stress. Whereas people who caused issues and complained were by far human from what she could tell, even then the people she helped at tables were people she somewhat knew.
Jackson was hiding behind a shelf and yelped in surprise when he was grabbed by the shoulder and spun around by his boss, who had their hands on their hips in question as they stared him down. Jackson looked down in guilt as he had been caught not doing his job and he apologized and got back to work.

(Yup!)
Vic was silent as she waited for her overcomplicated coffee to be done. Even a coffee wouldn't take long. When the first one was done, she ordered another one, still stalling before resigning to her fate of returning to the office. She would end up giving them both away, she wasn't really much of a coffee person. However, that was nothing that any of these people had to know.
Ezhno turned to look toward where he had heard a yelp. Curious, he walked in what he thought was the general direction of the noise and couldn't help but wonder if someone was being kidnapped or something else equally dark.
