Esunenenta BR 42402
(Esun or BR for short)

The stars shone a bright red that night, the sky a deep purple. The moon was a comforting shade of orange. It was spring, and the trees were beginning to develop a lovely shade of yellow. The things that hadn't started to come back alive were white, the color of death on this planet. Esun was a very peaceful planet. The Great Council made sure problems were resolved in peaceful ways, 27 hours a day, 343 days per year. Those who are on the Great Council are incredibly old and wise. There are few islands on the face of Esun. Most of it is one large landmass.

However, on this particular night, a scream pierced the now-thick silence.

Jacob wasn't supposed to be on duty that night, but like most graveyard shifts, there weren't very many officers who were on call. In fact, there was only one. And he got to the scene and was shocked to the point where he needed backup, apparently.

Jake sighed as he reluctantly pulled on his uniform. Of course, the one night that he wasn't on duty, something happened, and he was the one they felt the need to call. He got into the patrol car and headed out there with the lights on but not the sirens.

When he got there, the lady was shaking, with the other officer trying to console her. He glanced at the wall before doing a double-take. The dark oak wall was covered with giant white letters: SCREW YOUR FAMILY...THAT IDIOT GIRL IS GONE...THIS IS WHAT YOU GET.

Jacob stared at the words. Where had this come from? Why...why? His first complete thought was that this looked so...intrusive. It looked so out of place in the beautiful house. His next thought was that he needed to keep the public from getting in. He wasn't sure what girl the words were talking about or what this lady had done to deserve this, but...this wasn't right. If the public knew, the Great Council was sure to find out soon, too...He shook his head as if to clear it and went outside, leaving the other officer to comfort the now-crying lady. He began to tape off the house.

Ironically enough, the scream didn't come from who seemed to be crying. Hell, it looked like she didn't even know she was crying. She kind of just say there, a strange flower in her hands.

She was being questioned, but she was silent. Silent as the slight wind that was flowing over, making no sound. She looked like she couldn't be over 18, with her slightly tinted cyan hair.

Jake quickly finished up with taping off the surrounding property before coming back inside to listen in on the questioning. When his partner had paused, he butted in with his own question, staring at the girl. What happened? Was all he asked, looking for tells, for something that would tell him whether she was going to lie or not.
