Hello all! Repurposing this thread for my current Spring Cleaning \o/

Sylestia Inventory Spring Cleaning:


I get all fizzy if I don't do revamps every so often so I'll be doing some Spring Cleaning in general. These are the tradable items in my inventory for some projects I've scrapped / fallen out of love with / realistically will never use. And I have a bunch of extra gear but absolutely NO idea how to price it so I usually either let it sit there and rot or sell it straight back to the site.

I will also continue my Spring Cleaning to clear out my closet & stables cuz everything is so clunky and cluttered. I'll post details for those on a later post since I need to actually sort through them. You're still free to inquire though!!! ^~^

Ope! Thanks for the heads up. I just remembered cross site trading was okay, especially with everyone making pre-emptive deals for the Lorwolf launch (no actual trades since it isn't up but agreements). I always forget this site is technically still in Beta since it's been so long haha

Hi Izu, unfortunately, as Eevee pointed out, Sylestia is still officially in Beta. Kinda whack since it's been a decade lmao. But this means it's a breach of FR ToS to actually do any trades since games in Beta stage are considered lost assets because everything is meant to be wiped at launch. I mean I think (& hope) Krin doesn't plan to just nuke everything, but from Flight Rising's standpoint that's just some dude going "i pinky promise i won't steal your money and then leave you with nothing" since the comments have been made by Krin as an individual and not the Sylestia Games LLC via written policy.

Stormlight Workshops, the LLC that runs FR, has a responsibility to its own players to make sure they're not being scammed by others. Hypothetically, if you traded away FR assets in exchange for a game in Beta then you'd end up with nothing and be at a loss on both accounts. The link Eevee posted was Mouse Mod (<3 ) reminding everyone because the Lorwolf Beta Release had just happened and there was big hype. It lasted a couple of months and then, as typically occurs, the assets were destroyed. All of us that joined during Beta still have our accounts but they're completely empty and we even need to make our starter wolves all over again. Lorwolf was clear about what would happen at the end of Beta but Mouse Mod wanted to remind everyone so there'd be no mistakes or confusion kinda like the oopsies I was making here ^^;

EDIT: I will say in general you don't seem to have too much of value in your FR account at the moment. By conversion rates, it would roughly equal like 64k gold here but because the FR economy has much better balance if you judge by value I think it'd be closer to have 30k gold on Sylestia. Ideally trades should be 1:1000 for the ratio of premium to free currency but there's some extreme inflation over here and it's actually 1:2000. On FR if rates start to get near 1:1500 and stagnate there the devs will usually release a treasure gene / item set to help balance it back out. Over here it's like treasure is simultaneously over valued but also worth very little??? Like there's just a really weird and steep cliff you have to climb to start getting money and then afterwards the money comes easily but there's too much artificial scarcity for it to ever really mellow out x.x I'm pretty sure I'm rabbit holing at this point so I'll stop babbling but yea if you need help actually settling into FR reach out to your Flight leaders or hmu on there and I can explain the witchcraft that is a pixel economy ^~^
