I'm stuck on the egg with this clue: Here, you faced your first exhausting test as a most unwelcome guest.
I found the answer in a guide, but I still can't get the egg to show up and I don't know what to do. I've been trying to get it all of yesterday and today. Can someone please help?

with the region 1 and 2 eggs you just need to battle in that area until the rng spits the egg out. It can take a while sometimes, as annoying as that is.
(only r1+2 that aren't rng event after a random battle are the ones from the dungeons, which drop once you finish the dungeon)
