So looking at the Egg Hunt atm, it's showing as you not having found any of the Easter Eggs yet.
Is it possible you are confusing the Easter Egg pop-up with the ones you have to find through the Egg Hunt? The Egg Hunt Easter Eggs are all ones found while exploring. If you're in Viridian Meadows or Umbra Forest, they'll be from battling in the correct Zone. If you're in Astryl's Vale or the Lost Grove, you'll have to roam the Zone to physically find them hidden somewhere.

the one that the clue in the first post is for is located in the caves, near (that being, in the same room as) where Demora spawns
