The kingdom of Kelatha (the kingdom where humans reside) has been having trouble with the country of Nydirawen (the country of the elves) for decades. The main reason for this tension is that they cannot decide on boundaries. Right between the kingdom and the country, there is a beautiful, flourishing, resource-rich part of the land. Nobody has declared war yet, because that would start a war. The kingdom of Kelatha cannot afford a war at the moment because a disease has swept the kingdom, leaving the majority of middle-to-late-aged people bedridden. From what the people of Kelatha can tell, there seems to be no cure with their resources. The only problem is that Nydirawen residents are so busy crafting cures and gathering resources for their own people that they hardly have time for war.

However, there have been rumors that Nydirawen residents might have a cure, and Kelatha residents farm the ingredient that Nydirawen is missing. However, trespassing is considered treason and would start a war if one got caught, whether or not the people had time or resources for war.

He is snarky and sassy. He is the guy to tell dad jokes to other elves or humans. When he see's an human he is more neutral then the other elves but also cautious when he is around them. He is smart and can tell if someone lies to him. He also has the vibes of an elf whom seems to be older then the known elder elves.

Artemis has lived for along time. He knows the history of the kingdoms and when they first were created. Although he is strange even for elves. He would rather live by himself on the edge of the Nydirawen and Kelatha kingdom then live in one of the towns in the Nydirawen kingdom. He would also help some and I mean some humans for the right price.

He also doesn't care about having a significant other since he feels that they are childern compared to him. When Elves go they fade and sleep in a place where all the other sleeping elves are and they wait. Artemis can't seem to fade honestly since he forgotten the curse he had gotten from along time ago from someone he can't seem to remember.

He is very friendly with fellow humans, and he jokes around a lot with them. He can also be quite the flirt sometimes, although he has no intention of any sort of commitment. He can be very annoying at times.

Bradyn was not in a good mood. It was as if he had a cloud following him everywhere. His body language clearly stated that he wasn't ready to talk to anyone or anything at the moment. His mother's condition has worsened, almost to the point of fatality. Of course, he had tried everything and asked everyone if there was anything they knew about or could do to help his mother. Almost every single time, they lowered their voice and told him about an elf that might be willing to help him. So, that's where he had gone. Correction: was going.

Artemis had been in his home reading in his chair when he sneezed. Which is odd since his room full of books has no dust nor anything that could lead to him sneezing.

"Someone must be talking about me, " Artemis thought to himself. He put the book down on a side table he had besides his chair. He stands up and walks out of the room to prepare some tea for himself.
