Because I think it needs to be said. So I am going to break it down. Please also feel to suggest your own ideas.

Reason for suggestion:

I prefer to be able to identify my fellow pet loving players properly. Without having to ask and having to spend time scrolling through bios/forum bios.



Overall desired plan:

I'd like to be able to mouse over to tap once on some ones name. For their pronouns to show up.


Desired look for example: (this is a really ugly crusty dusty example of a UI.)



Important notes:

I think there should be a way to turn off the visibility of said UIs in the setting. And also a way to opt out of selecting YOUR own pronouns if you don't want to display.

The main reason I suggest having the UI's something you can shut off. Is because phone users and our tiny screens.

I understand people will be worried someone will use the "Attack Helicopter." joke thing to make fun. But maybe we have a character limit? I don't really know. Share your ideas please

But also most importantly everyone opinions are welcome here. And are valid, just make them respectful.

I kinda like this idea, and i definitely think if something like this is implemented it should be an option to type out pronouns rather than a select list, just because some people may have more than one or may have a lesser known neopronoun. ^^

It was meant to come off as type your own pronouns, I might not have communicated that right.

Support! I would love this. I feel like it would make communication a bit smoother, and help people feel more welcome. They already were, but with this they can feel a bit more "at home"?

Support, I get anxious about using the correct pronouns and this would help me be more comfortable talking with people on the site
