Hey! I was wondering if anyone would like to roleplay with me. I've only made my account today, so...be patient, please. Feel free to suggest ideas!
I enjoy dark fantasy, and romance (mostly as a subplot, but I think I will be able to manage it as the actual plot xD), and I can roleplay real-world plots.

Would you be interested in a short role play?
What are your interests? (Mine would be in established worlds, ex. Harry Potter.) I've never read lord of the rings, so I wouldn't be able to do that one convincinglyy.

Ah, I've only ever read the 4th book of Harry Potter and haven't seen any of the movies. A short roleplay would be fine!
My interests would be anything fantasy/fiction related, horror, slight romance, non-fiction plots...that sort of thing. Did that help?

Although I'm not big on romance you could certainly write that sort of thing into your characters and side characters.
For a first try, I would probably avoid horror for myself.
-or at least I know even when it's the "bad guy" in a movie, cruelty and trapping/tying/caging mean I'll probably stop watching. If it doesn't involve that, it might be easier to survive. But maybe non-horror fiction would be easier for a first step.
I'm fine with the fiction or non-fiction, but don't really have any ideas beyond existing books and historical eras.
Gallagher Academy would be my top preference.if not, you wouldn't happen to like
medieval books,
star trek,
star wars,
warehouse 13,
worst witch,
Eureka,
charmed,
sabrina,
my little pony,
princess diaries,
buffy, or
almost any disney movie?
I tend to like school-based books when I read-or ones about competition whether athletic, academic, or artistic. Do you have any ideas? (I'm new to this.)

I like the idea of the medieval era or the school-based kind of thing. Also, I can definitely keep romance and horror out of our roleplays.

I'm kind of a terrible writer.
I've got nothing.
I was thinking of an adventure: having to track down a valuable item lost in a far-away place in order to pay for enough food to replace what was lost in a crop-plague, but it didn't go anywhere interesting.
Or
Two random characters find a bizarre abadoned castle, where each room is a different type of weird, cabinets are on the floors, furniture is on the wall, the stairwall passes through a wall...
Or
The academic decatthalon team in a high school in Zurich, Switzerland discover that the jammed supply closet is actually an entrance to a passage way that connects the school to countless locations: the Swiss National Library and who knows what else.
The role play would still be in English.
We could do New York or London or something else, if you'd prefer.
This one is probably my preference. Or the castle-one.
Do you have some ideas?

I'm good with any of those! And I do have some ideas, but they're all dark fantasy kinds of things. I prefer the castle one if that's okay with you.

Sure, the castle works. What era do you want this to be in ?
Do you have any character details for yourself?
How do the characters meet? Do they meet at the site or already know eachother? Should we be classmates/neighbors or already friends? If they haven't known eachother long, I think it would make sense to first meet there or have one tell the other about it. (Maybe they couldn't break in the first day because there was some sort of major obstacle and they needed rope or a plank-some way to get across it: a moat, the doors are overgrown with harder plants like saplings.
For myself:
Basics: female, teen-ish aged
Probably book-ish
Generally Cautious
Longer than shoulder-length blonde hair
Usually has a backpack. Edit (backpack if modern, bag if medieval setting)
Can sew
Creative
Okay with puzzles or just looking around.
I'm working on ideas to add a plot (so far we mostly have a setting.)

I was thinking maybe in the more modern era because that way it'll be weirder and stuff, the lore more confusing, maybe?
Maybe a rumor was going around school that there was a castle, and they both went to investigate and met each other there.
My character would probably end up being a male, maybe a transfer or something.
He has zero sense of self-preservation and likes to outdo other people, which is why he came to the castle.
He has a shock of red hair.
