I'm pretty sure this has been brought up before but I couldn't find the thread so I'm making my own. When you get pinged in a thread it shows up at the top of your forums page, but the minute you click on it, it goes away. I think there should be an option to pin certain threads to the top for a certain amount of time.

Sometimes I'm tagged in certain threads but I don't want to respond right away so I'll wait, but then the thread disappears from the top of my page and I end up forgetting to respond. Maybe if there was an option to pin the thread to the top as a reminder, and then remove it when you no longer need to be reminded would be a great option.

Temporary solution: Put a reminder with the link in your bio! Copy the message's link and paste it in.

This isn't a bad idea, but I do have a solution for myself that might work for others.

On my browser bookmarks bar I keep a "Temp" folder where I will bookmark threads I need to keep an eye on. Every once and awhile I'll look through them.

I also have special "permanent" threads of mine that I keep on my profile. Threads I need to refer people to (like my buying avatar items thread or projects threads) regularly. Makes it easy for anyone to just view my profile and go to the thread.

Overall though I do think the forums need a bit of an improvement. There are a lot of features missing.

But let's be honest. The entire site needs its long overdue overhaul.
