A text error, not a code one.
Not quite sure how to explain this, but I've got an image below.
Basic rundown:
- Wild Aurleon puts a damaging debuff on one of my Sylesties.
- On each turn, upon the damage cycle, the console reads Wild Aurleon's Hemorrhaging hits Lieche for xPhysical Damage!
- I successfully capture the Aurleon at the beginning of a turn.
- The rest of that turn still goes through. 's Hemorrhaging hits Lieche for 710 Physical Damage!
Basically, capturing a Sylesti while it has a Party Sylesti inflicted with a damaging debuff pulls its name from existence. I haven't tested it with other debuffs, but since no other type (I assume) puts a message on the console, it's just these ones. Not a massive issue!

It's a dot (damage over time) from your air pet. Means even if you aren't actively doing damage the pet you are vsing can still be damaged. No text issue or glitch here I don't think

This is an affliction my light pet, Lieche, had. I do not use air Sylesties (yet). The Wild Aurleon in question was Epic, so it was attuned for this battle. That's why it was able to do this in the first place.
The problem isn't that damage was dealt after it was captured. The issue is that capturing it removed its identity from the console entirely.

Yea. This is just a semi obscure issue in exactly the situation you described.
Unfortunately, I don't really have an easy way to fix it due to how all of the systems work here and how old they are. Such issues will be fixed whenever we switch over to the new system.
Thank you though for letting me know.

Yeah, I assumed it was something along those lines. No problem!
