I'm going to be honest; i haven't played this game in a long, LONG time. But, i have all these pets just chilling in my stables slowly starving to death (RIP) so i thought i might give away some of them.

But, i don't want to do a first come first serve type of give away. So i thought, whoever can come up with the best name and lore for them can have them.

The contest is simple: Come up with a good name, and a good backstory for any one of these pets, and on the 17th i will log back in and review the options. There is no word count, no limit to how many pets you can write for, and you can submit up to the 17th itself.

Her name is Amethyst. When her egg came into this world, her parents abandoned it. Once she hatched, she was all alone.

A family of tropical fish swam by, and they saw how helpless the hatchling was.
They decided to adopt her.

But one day, they ran into Amethyst's real parents, and the Sylvorpas were out hunting fish. They ate the tropical fish that was Amethyst's family, and that left Amethyst alone once again.

But, as the Sylvorpas were swimming away, the mother stopped. She recognized Amethyst, becuase she looked so similar to them. They wanted her to forgive them abandoning her, and come back to the family.

But Amethyst refused becuase they had eaten the only beings on the face of this earth who actually loved her.

So to this day, Amethyst swims the oceans alone, and never, ever eats fish. Never have, never will.

Her egg was stolen and was brought to a small camp. In this camp was the princess of a far away land. The egg was presented to the princess as a gift for her 16th birthday. The princess was delighted at the gift and took the egg back to her kingdom. When the egg hatched the princess was overjoyed at how beautiful the hatchling was. In the beginning the princess took great care of the hatchling but as time went on she got bored of her pet. She would play with the hatchling less and less.

One day the princess forgot to feed the hatchling. After waiting for some time the hatchling decided to wonder around the palace in hopes to find some food. After a while she found some food sitting on a table. As she reached out to take the food a rough hand grabbed her.

"Look at this, it's the princess's little pet," a voice growled. "Let's see how well she can entertain."

With that the hatchling felt herself being flung through the air and pain erupted in her head as she was slammed down onto the side of the table.

The hatchling woke up in a metal cage in a dark wagon. She looked around and saw many other creatures in cages like hers. After waiting along with the others for quite some time she began to hear voices from outside the wagon.

"Get the hatchling," she heard.

"But she hasn't been trained," another voice responded.

"Just do as I said," the fist voice responded.

The wagon opened up and the hatchling's cage was lifted out. the cage was set down on the ground and once again a rough hand grabbed her. This time she was thrown out onto a stage surrounded by people. The hatchling stared in wide eyed horror at the amount of judging faces around her.

Not wanting to have anything to do with that place she spread her wings and a burst of magic erupted out of her body, nocking the people back. She flapped her wings and flew away from the miserable place. As she flew she thought about what to do next. She decided that she would look for a new owner. A kind owner who treated her with kindness and respect. It is said that she is still looking for that owner to this day.

The mountainside seemed to alive with motion.
Well, because it was.
Sylesties were flying around hunting and really doing anything.

And then an avalanche happened.

Panic quick spread through the mountains as a wall of snow came pummeling down, snapping down trees as it went. In one of these trees was a blue and yellow speckled egg of a zolnixi. As the tree fell, so did the egg.

It rolled down in the torrent of frost and landed in a warm cave. The shell broke on impact with the stone floor and a small hatching tumbled onto the paws of a vulnyx. It looked up to see three faces, a vulnyx, puffadore and a zolnixi, like it.

The vulnyx looked back up and sprinted to the opening of the cave, which was now blocked by a thick wall of snow. "Oh no no no- We're trapped!" The vulnyx howled out in panic, trying to dig through the snow to no avail. "The Snow's not our biggest concern as of now" the puffadore said, picking up the hatchling, "What are we supposed to do with this?"
