Okay, so I have um slight obsession with breeding pets. As I normal have around 50ish pages in my hatchery. highest was around 100ish.
However I run into this issue often when I am using AS (advanced search) I click on someones stunning pet. And I get this pop up. This pet is on a mission or this pet is unconscious. Or even saying "still recovering" even if I set "recovering" as trait that doesn't show. And so every time I get one of those menus. I'm like what in the name of Cheetos that color your tongue green is this?
I would like to have an option to be able to turn off pets that are on missions or passed out. Where they don't show up in the list.
Cause some time, I wish I was joking. I'll click like 15 pets. And they're one of those menus.
And I'm like what in the warthog? Then I like get a bit annoyed for like 2 minutes. Then I'm back at it.

if a pet is unconscious from hunger, you can feed it so you can breed with it even if it's someone else's pet.
I'm not sure why your "Recovering: No" setting in AS wouldn't be working, though, I just tested it out and it's working fine for me?

Oh?! I can feed someones pet?! I never noticed. I some times get the "still recovering" on males. I'm not sure what that means.

Are you sure its not your pets that are still recovering? Males have no recovery time period so you could be trying to breed them to one of your females that you've already bred.
Also in order to feed another users pet, there should be a button right under the "View Lineage" button. It costs 100 coins to feed another users pets.

No because if the female has already been bred, she doesn't show up in the menu at all.

This might be something you'll have to talk to Krin about then. That shouldn't be happening if you're breeding with a male. You'll probably have to provide a screenshot so Krin can better see what's going on.

Not sure if this might apply to your issue or not, but if you open several males in multiple tabs before breeding to any of them, the breeding drop downs won't update when you breed to the first male, meaning that there is the potential for already bred females to still show as available in later males that you had open in other tabs.
In case that was confusing, a practical example:
Say I go looking through male luffoxes set for breeding. After going through the AS in search of certain traits, I have 15 males open in separate tabs waiting to be bred to.
I have 25 female luffoxes ready to breed.
Because I opened all 15 male luffox pages before starting to breed, they all have my 25 female luffs available in their dropdowns, because the dropdown menus are populated when the pet page is opened/refreshed, not when the prices button is pressed.
I breed 10 of the female luffs to the first 5 males, but not in any order. When I get to male #6, all 25 females still show as available, even though only 15 are actually available. Either I have to know which females I've already bred, or I can refresh male #6's page and the dropdown will now only show the 15 still available females.
If I try to breed to one of the already bred females that are still on the list because I haven't refreshed, it will tell me that the pet is still on cooldown.
Since males don't have cooldowns at all, this would be my guess as to what is happening to you (if not, then yeah, I agree: contact Krin, as it would be a bug)

Oh, so I never open that many tabs. I will have the advanced search tab open. And the current pet I'm trying to breed with.
I uh never try matching a partner with another on purpose. I will always just click the pet I want to breed. And if I pairing one of my males with a female. I will just breed what ever female first pops up of mine. I never really breed my males. If I do breed my males its with females I own. Just cause I'm too lazy to track what males of mine have bred. While I'm using advanced search.
Also thank you for your response.
