Not sure if this is an issue on my end or the games end but when battling my pets attacks started overlapping with each other and whenever I would try to attack, I wouldn't do any damage and I was just stuck in a repetitive cycle. I ended up having to close out the tab completely and when I opened it back up I got kicked all the way back to the barracks.

Seems like some sort of major script file malfunction. My best guess is either a browser addon/extension that you use tampered with the script file or it was just a weird one-off issue where everything fell apart. I am not aware of anything or any changes on our end that would have caused this behavior.

Have you tried again to see if the issue persists? Try clearing your browser cache and trying again if you haven't already.
